Meet Agnes the Yorkie Poo – Nashville’s Cutest Dog
Looking for a delightful lap dog to add love and joy to your life? Agnes is the dog for you. A sweet and small Yorkie Poo (mix of Yorkshire Terrier and Miniature Poodle) for adoption in Nashville, Tennessee, Agnes is a healthy 6 year old female dog. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Agnes is house broken and well behaved, with a very endearing personality. She is a true lap dog, and loves her humans deeply.
Agnes is being rehomed by her owners, who have considered the decision to find her a home home for more than a year. They are concerned that Agnes is not happy in her current situation. She shares her home with a busy family and 2 large younger dogs. The dogs and their puppy rambunctiousness put Agnes on edge, and she is caused further anxiety by the busy household and people coming and going.
Agnes’ dream home would be with retired or work-from-home dog lovers. She would prefer to be the only dog; the apple of your eye, and the queen of your lap. She would love to spend her days cuddling with her owner.
Agnes loves to go places with her owner. She is great in the car, and really likes travelling. She does not have separation anxiety, and is fine being left home alone for a few hours.
Agnes would make an ideal companion for a senior. She would very much love to live in a quiet home with a securely fenced yard. Above all, she needs owners who can give her an anxiety-free home, free of commotion, rowdy kids and other dogs. She would be fine with dog-friendly cats.
Like many Poodle mixes, Agnes does have a shrill bark, and she is not afraid to use it. Living in a quiet home without a lot of outdoor or indoor activity would be best for Agnes, and her new owners.
If you would like to offer Agnes a loving home, please complete our REQUEST TO MEET A PET form. Once your information is received and reviewed, we will ask Agnes’ owner to call you and arrange for you to meet her.
Agnes will be rehomed with all supplies, including her veterinary records. Offer this sweet dog a warm lap and a loving forever home today.
Agnes is a small dog and she really does not like living with the bigger dogs in our home. AT ALL. They make her very anxious and it just kills me.
I have a very active house with kids and 2 big dogs and that much commotion makes her really ill at ease. She is perfect when she gets a lot of attention or is alone but that is just not our family.
She will bark a lot… other dogs walking by, etc. Not all the time or excessively. She gets SUPER excited to see people when they come in and she jumps. Every time. But she is small so it is not dangerous. Just a little annoying at times.
She is a hyper dog when people come in. After that she is pretty chilled out. She wants to be a lap dog and would be PERFECT for a single person or couple or elderly person. Just wanted to be pet and fed. LOVES to take walks. She will do a 4.5 mile hike and not stop once. She is a very good and sweet dog- she is just really not happy in our crazy house with kids running all around and dogs. She is GREAT with kids.
She has never snapped or anything of that nature. She just does not do well with big dogs that try and “play” with her. We have tried everything and our dog trainer, who I LOVE, really thinks she is just really unhappy and this is not a good home for her.
She gets a long with all animals and people. She will chase a cat but not hurt it. And will never snap at a dog… but just does not do well with them. She spends a lot of time with another small dog and they are fine… but Agnes is the Alpha and the boss. I think being the only dog is WAY better for her and makes her a lot less stressed.
Agnes really is a sweet dog and I think would be such an ideal pet for someone who doesn’t have another dog. She is small and adorable and does not shed.
She loves to walk and she will certainly art you if someone is at the door. I really hope y’all can help us.
My DREAM would be to find a nice person/ family who would let us reach out and keep in touch. Not annoyingly so. But just so we know how she is and can get updates from time to time.
